Frequently Asked Questions

How is your program different than DEI offered in the past?

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training has largely been a checkbox training method with low barrier entry points for organizations to meet the standards. Our level of depth, and scope has created a new gold standard. This is because that we want people to be assured that when they see H.E.A.L I.T. Certification, they know that DEI and psychological safety was treated as more than a checkbox. We also have the trade secret Transformational (UN)Learning methodology built into how we create our learning experiences. We ensure that the supports are in place for uncomfortable conversations, and that somatic safety, and interactive learning are part of the process. This allows us to go deeper into the topics than if we did not consider these factors, and the learning outcomes show the difference.

How do I get started with becoming certified?

Start by booking a free discovery call. We offer 20 minute calls to see how we can help you. We offer an assessment where you can determine your individual or organizational readiness. Then, we schedule the training based on the plan and availability of the team.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

No. The extent of the sessions are to build social capacity in the nervous system, and it is easy to avoid the full range of the experience when in a virtual setting.

How much does the H.E.A.L. I.T. training cost?

Each stackable micro-credential works out to $9,166.67 plus tax, ($366.67 per person) and at 6 of these 2 day sessions, it is $55,000 for a 25 person cohort. The individual cost for the whole program is $2,200 plus tax. We also charge travel, accommodation and per diems. Non-Refundable deposits are required to cover travel and accommodation fees for facilitators at the time of booking. We recommend booking H.E.A.L. sessions to take in sequential order for best outcomes. Then, I.T. after an integrative period to apply and re-connect again for the final sessions and certification.

We can offer the sessions all at once or separate them as individual sessions to be accommodating to your schedule.

We provide a minimum of 2 facilitators, always one who is a senior facilitator level of experience, and one that can support emotional processes if they are present for individuals. We ensure we provide quality, safe, and connected learning environments. These are intensive days, so preparation and post integration support is recommended.

How long is the H.E.A.L I.T. Training?

Each stackable micro-credential is two full 6 hour days. We generally deliver from 9:00 am -12:00 pm and from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm to deliver during most standard work days. We are open to variation on this, as per the needs of the group. The first four micro-credentials: Humility, Equity, Anti-Racism, and Lateral Kindness must be taken in sequence and completed prior to the last two: Inclusivity and Trauma-Informed. There is a research and application component to completing these remaining two because they are about supporting the implementation of all the new learning.

Can an organization send a team or is it for individual leaders only?

We work with individuals and organizations. We need a minimum of 10 to run an offering with a maximum of 25 people. We absolutely offer team training.

Will H.E.A.L I.T. International's training be recognized by employers in the field of DEI and workplace safety standards?

Yes. We work strongly with partners to ensure that the regulatory and compliance requirements are met. We meet the DEI expectations, as well as psychological safety standards. We are committed to bringing you a full picture approach to social competencies necessary to ensure social safety in the workplace, in public relations, and in everyday life.

What is the difference between accreditation and certification?

Certification is what you receive when an individual completes the H.E.A.L I.T. Social Competencies Program. It is a certification of completion that you have met all of the requirements of the program. H.E.A.L. I.T. Social Competencies Organizational Certification is when you achieve a ratio of 60% leadership and 40% staff who are all H.E.A.L I.T. Certified Organizations apply to H.E.A.L I.T. International to request to be a H.E.A.L. I.T. Certified Organization. Individuals only need to get certification once, but to remain organizational certified, there needs to be a minimum amount of certified individuals within the organization at time. This is audited every 3 years to maintain this status.

Accreditation is when a governing body gives you achievement for reaching the certification standards that they weigh against regulation and compliance. Certification and Accreditation is always separate so that it does not have a conflict of interest. Therefore, we aim to offer certification so that organizations can achieve accreditation. Then, because we align our training with regulation standards, you can apply to gain accreditation with governing bodies within the country you are located in.
